JMBLYA will again offer attendees a highly curated mix of hip-hop performers, blending together some of today’s most sought-after national acts and exciting up-and-comers. This year, the traveling Texas event will premiere a new footprint and layout, featuring two main stages and offering fans a chance to catch every moment of main stage action with non-overlapping sets. Additionally, in a continued effort to improve the overall experience for all attendees, several notable changes are set to take place at all of the 2018 events, including expanded water filling stations with an unlimited amount of free water through a new partnership with Event Water Solutions. Other key upgrades to the festival-going experience will include inflatable water slides and fun water activities for attendees of all ages; double the number of food vendors overall in GA and adding more food options in VIP; increasing the size of all bars and expanding to feature special bars dedicated to nonalcoholic offerings; and adding more shade structures to help attendees stay cool.

2018 headliner and Grammy-nominated emcee J. Cole will close out the fest each night, performing tracks from his recent record-breaking album, KOD, which was released just last month to rave reviews from critics and fans alike. JMBLYA also marks Cole’s only currently-announced performance in Texas in 2018, and offers attendees an opportunity to hear songs from the new album performed live for the very first time.

Immediately preceding J Cole’s performance JMBLYA attendees can enjoy sets from Atlanta rap trio Migos, who are set to perform several hits off their recent chart-topping Culture II album like “Stir Fry”, “Walk It Like I Talk It” and “Narcos”; recent lineup addition and Atlanta-based rapper/singer/producer Young Thug; and Kevin Gates, whose performance will mark the first show announced from the hustler-turned-rapper since fall of 2016. Other performers include Playboi Carti, widely known for his breakout hit and viral sensation “Magnolia”; as well as several leaders in today’s SoundCloud rap scene, including Trippie Redd and Ski Mask The Slump God; Dreamville Records artist, Cozz, Toronto-based emcee, Killy, YouTube star-turned rapper, Jack Harlow, along with special Texas guests Bun B, Trae Tha Truth and DJ Mr. Rogers.
